Diesel locomotive Class 66 HMS Argyll 66775 of GBRf.Prototype: Built in Muncie, Indiana and entering service under No. 66775, this locomotive was named in 2017 after one of the oldest serving Type 23 frigates in the Royal Navy, “HMS Argyll”. It carries the pennant number F231 on its bodyside, along with the Royal Navy White Ensign and crest on the cab sides in celebration of the famous frigate.

Initially designed to haul dangerous cargo such as fuel, the use of the wagons diversified as they came closer to withdrawal in the early 2000s.
